Think firstA $6 notebook and $14 earbuds

With 13% HST, what do you pay at the till for both things?

Decide first, then press Next. Read the receipt: prices, subtotal, tax, total.

A receipt: notebook $6.00, earbuds $14.00, subtotal $20.00, HST and total as question marks. The right side works out 10% = $2.00 and 3% = $0.60, then 13% = $2.60 and total = $20.00 + $2.60 = $22.60, which fills the receipt. The last step shows $30.00 headphones.

  2. HST$2.60
  3. Total$22.60
