Draw a view on grid paper

Think firstDraw this building's front view on grid paper
Which stack sets how tall each column of your drawing is?
Decide first, then press Next. Watch the squares go onto the grid one column at a time.
Ten cubes in two rows, and empty grid paper with a question mark. The heights 3, 2 and 2 are written over the grid's columns, then squares are shaded up from a base line, column by column. Then the side view is drawn the same way: 2 then 3.

The big idea
To draw a view, find each column's height, then shade that many squares up from a base line.
Four steps1. Choose where you stand. 2. Write each column's height. 3. Shade that many squares, columns touching. 4. Label the view.
Easy to get wrongNo slanted lines in a view. If you drew a top or a side face, you drew the corner picture instead.
