The back view is the front view flipped

What do you see when you walk round behind the building?

Today you'll discover

  • why left and right swap
  • why the back view adds nothing new

Think firstThe front view: the tall column is on the left

You walk round behind the building. Where will the tall column be?

Decide first, then press Next. Watch the front view fold over into the back view.

The front view of the seven cubes: columns 3, 1, 1. Then the eye moves behind the building and the back view appears: columns 1, 1, 3. A dashed outline of the front view folds over onto it. The last step asks for the back view of a building whose front view is 3, 2, 2.
